TET Sweden Section2

We are ready for some offroad action in Sweden now that we have rested a bit and got a new chain kit for Mike's bike! It was good to calm down a little after all we have seen in Iceland. 😅

We left Jönköping after a rich breakfast, of course, heading in the direction of Mullsjö where we finally got onto the TET, which I was eager to ride! It was a beautiful ride, and we had great weather as always. The gravel roads were very well maintained and not actually difficult to ride, but I had high hopes that we would be on more challenging trails soon...

And we were not disappointed! Every now and then, the TET led us through beautiful forests and slightly more rocky trails. For the first time, we also rode in the sand. It was a lot of fun gaining more experience on the bike and riding different terrain.

And this was my highlight of TET section 2. I felt like I was riding proper offroad trails, and it was a lot of fun!

After this eventful ride on the Swedish TET, we decided to make use of the Allemansrätten in Sweden, which allows you to set up camp for a night almost anywhere, except on private property, of course. We found a nice lake called Västra Laxsjön, where we could ride close to the fireplace, set up our tent, and get eaten by mosquitoes while Mike was fishing. This time, he caught a small fish. It was too small to eat, and since I'm not a fan of fish, he let it go. So, we grilled some cheese and potatoes before we crawled into our tent to get some sleep after a long and adventurous day.
